I was looking for something else when I found this, and it got me thinking.
With certain civil rights and affirmative action laws, there have been positive changes made.
As far as I can tell, in the majority of the United States, it’s no longer acceptable to use racial slurs.
However, there is still work to be done.
Non-whites still experience micro aggression, and not such microscopic aggression.
This list of Huffington Post articles discussing racism on Twitter prove that beyond the shadow of a doubt.
Although in many cases overt racism is punished, there is still much that needs to change.
