The following is from the video description.
In the middle of Africa there lies a remote and little known country called the Central African Republic, or CAR. Not only is CAR one of the least developed and poorest countries in the world with the world’s joint lowest life expectancy, but for the past nine months it has been embroiled in a conflict and state of lawlessness described by many news outlets and commentators as “the worst crisis you’ve never heard of”. On 5 December the United Nations issued a mandate to restore order in CAR “by all necessary means” following a surge of violence in which 394 people were killed in the capital Bangui in just three days of fighting. And many of these people were children.
While I don’t believe in a supernatural Antichrist or a conspiracy to bring such a being to power on Earth, I certainly do believe that humanity is capable of great evil and has committed great evils for the love of money and power.
While I don’t believe that we have literally been branded by some sort of Satanic number, I do feel that more than ever, certain numbers have power over our lives. We have our social security numbers, and purchases made with our debit or credit cards are tracked. True privacy is something of a myth.
When people are motivated by greed and love of power, terrible things will continue to happen.
Back in the 1970’s, my father (R.I.P.) said that a person could never really trust the government. I’m sure that he would agree that the NSA is not being forthcoming with the real scope of their activities.
The more I hear about this situation, the more I think that Edward Snowden actually is a hero.
This documentary by The Passionate Eye recalls the anthrax attacks following 9/11 and calls to mind the chilling thought of the extreme lengths that people are willing to go to in order to achieve their objectives. Germ warfare is not mere science fiction, and if it were to be used on a mass scale, the effects could be devastating.
Is Edward Snowden a hero or a traitor? Senior National Security Analyst Juan Zarate feels that Snowden’s claims about his access to critical government data are a concern but may be exaggerated.
Some people feel that Zarate is the one who is the traitor, and that he was a puppet for the Bush administration.
Here is a more in-depth report from Glenn Greenwald for Democracy Now. Democracy Now is an independent news source. Greenwald supports Snowden’s actions.
This video provides further information regarding data collecting and surveillance. Senator Mark Udall (D-Colorado) feels that the NSA is violating the common person’s privacy, and calls for full disclosure of what the NSA is doing.
Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) counters that there has been no wrongdoing on the part of NSA. She states that the records collected are simple calls to and from data from the phone company, and that there would have to be an order by a judge to wiretap any given person.
Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Michigan) states that Glenn Greenwald does not have all the necessary information. He states that the NSA program targets foreigners in foreign countries thought to be involved in potential terrorist activities. Rogers states that Snowden released “just enough information to be dangerous.” Both Feinstein and Rogers believe that Snowden should be prosecuted.
I hope for the best for this brave young man. His life is in danger from vile thugs who want to maintain the status quo wherein they have power without question.
Kolkata: Kamduni was firmly back on the political sparring field on Sunday after the overnight attack on Bhaskar Mondal, president of the anti-rape forum Kamduni Pratibadi Mancha, reportedly by Trinamool Congress goons. The CPM and Congress sharply criticized the attempt to “muffle” the Kamduni protests, earning a sharper retort by state food minister Jyotipriyo Mullick. But what would probably be worse for the Trinamool Congress-led regime, the incident seems to have reignited the Kamduni embers.
I have added this link several hours later. This is not politically motivated but offers proof that there are men out there who are desperate to keep women subjugated. It is a similar mentality to a majority race wanting to keep minority races subjugated. These individuals feel threatened by the idea of second class citizens gaining equality and autonomy, and it can become dangerous for those people who dare to speak out against them.
